Meetings Elections and Social: Andrew Reznack, chair The first Lake Meet-up will be at 2 p.m. Sunday May 19 and the Memorial Weekend lighted boat parade will be at 8:30 p.m. (sunset) on Saturday, May 5. New events being considered this year include a Walk on June 8 and a Chicken Dinner fundraiser at the Moose to raise money for social activities. August there may be a poker run and possibly a game day in August. The group was fine with having the winter social at the Wildey Theatre again.
Restrictions: Roy Wehling chair Roy asked about renters who had paperwork on file. He suggested that if paperwork is not on file the association cannot issue boat stickers. He will get with the Meng’s about that property.
Safety: Greg Arth, chair Greg reported a resident in a rental house on East Lake Drive has asked for a permit for what is believed to be an oversized motor. The board confirmed denials for anything in the restrictions do not need board approval. Doug recommended doing e-coli testing more than once this year and the board was fine with the committee’s recommendation, which is within the existing budget for the activity. No fish testing is planned but the committee is getting the statewide mercury advisories to share on predator fish.
Silt & Erosion: Submitted by Craig Louer, chair – Craig asked what should be the next step for capital expenses including silt and erosion control? There was a lengthy discussion. The silt committee will meet at 5:15 on May 9 and the matter will come back to the board at the next meeting. No additional engineering is planned at this time.
Commons Areas – Lee Frea, chair There will be a work day Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to do paver pads under the kayak stand at E2.
