Fishing Divisions
1 to 6 years – Panfish Division
7 to 12 years – Gamefish Division
13 to 18 years – Lunker Division
Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each Division and for the biggest fish overall
FISHING DERBY RULES
The rules have been revised this year to reflect the Dunlap Lake daily catch limits. Anglers are encouraged to release any fish that exceed those limits.
- Panfish and Gamefish Divisions: Total weight of up to 15 fish including up to 3 largemouth bass, 6 catfish, 2 striped bass, 2 walleye, and 15 panfish (crappie, bluegill and other sunfish)
- Lunker Division: Total weight of up to 6 fish including up to 3 largemouth bass, 6 catfish, 2 striped bass, and 2 walleye
- All fish must be caught by participants. Participants in the Panfish Division may get assistance from an adult but the child must reel the fish in.
Volunteers needed:
– setup: 7:30-8:30
– grilling, boat docking, weigh-in and cleanup: 10:30
