Freezing the shallows seems to have really helped keep the plant life under control. The lake will be lowered the first week of December (weather permitting) to freeze out the plant life in the shallow areas of the lake and allow for shoreline and dock construction.
If you want to do construction while the water is down please submit a building permit application as soon as possible. Once there is a hard freeze, the water will only be kept down long enough to finish the construction projects already in progress.
