The fireworks display scheduled for Labor Day weekend has been cancelled. With the lack of rain, the lake is still low and the vegetation is dense in many areas. A large number of residents can not access the water at this time. The board did not take this decision lightly, through multiple discussions with our neighbors, pausing on the fireworks until next season was the most prudent decision.
It has been a frustratingly dry year, but the first two phases of the capital projects we have worked on for almost 2 decades have been completed. These capital projects ensure the safety and health of our lake for decades to come.
The third annual block party is set for September 15.
